About Mills Farm
Mills Farm is a family-owned business in the Far North of New Zealand’s North Island.
Marina and Warren Mills have operated the business for the last 21 years and extract most of their product’s ingredients from their own organically certified farmland.
Mills Farm’s base is the rural setting of Peria, Te Tai Tokerau, Northland and comprises 100ha of mixed countryside including native bush, pasture, and their own residential home.
Mills Farm was the first producer of organic bee venom in New Zealand, and one of the first in the world.

Manuka is a prolific shrub-type tree, native to New Zealand Aotearoa.
Manuka is evergreen, with dense branching and small leaves. The flowers are white, occasionally pink.
The wood is tough and hard.
Bees collect nectar and pollen from the Manuka flower. They contain properties not found in any other flower.
Manuka flowers are extremely delicate and susceptible to even slight variations in climate, rainfall and wind.
At Mills Farm, the Manuka trees are far away from pesticides, herbicides and other human contact.
This keeps the Manuka flower, bee colonies and Manuka Honey healthy.
According to Maori mythology:
Ranginui (sky father) and Papatūānuku (earth mother) were locked in an eternal embrace.
Their children became frustrated with the cramped conditions and decided to separate their parents.
Tane Mahuta (god of the forests) lay on his back and forced his parents apart.
He adorned Ranginui with the sun, moon and the stars.
Tane Mahuta cloaked his mother with trees and had a union with his wife Tawake-toro which gave rise to Manuka.

Marina originally hails from Russia and is a qualified Apiarist (beekeeper) and Apitherapist from the renowned Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy.
Warren has worked with bees and honey extraction for all his adult life and his heritage is of Ngati Kahu, one of the indigenous iwi (tribe) of Northland, New Zealand.
Warren’s father was beekeeping with Sir Edmund Hilary and that piqued Warren’s interest in the industry which has resulted in a life’s passion.
Mills Farm is the first producer of organic bee venom in New Zealand, and one of the first in the world.

Mills Farm produces a small, select range of health-related products such as toothpaste and healing balms. They have been successfully exporting Mills Farm Toothpaste under the ‘Green Leaf’ brand into the Japanese market for the last four years.

Really good toothpaste – the effect of brushing your teeth lasts longer than normal toothpaste. Found the taste interesting to begin with but am used to it now. When I go back to normal toothpaste I find it too sweet so look forward to using Mills Farm Toothpaste. Had a gum infection when starting using it and it helped to quicken the process of getting it cleared up.
Didn’t like the taste to begin with. Got used to it within a week. It is a lot more ‘creamy and foamy than normal toothpaste’. I can feel it on my teeth longer after brushing.

This toothpaste was quite the experience, certainly different to the common minty taste we are all used to for a toothpaste. However, the foaming component is quite pleasant and feels like you are getting a really good oral clean. It did take a couple of uses to prepare for the odd taste, however when considering the potential benefits from the bee venom, I overlook the taste. Overall satisfied with the product thus far.
I have used the Mills farm toothpaste and found it great. It leaves the mouth and palette fresh with no chalky after taste taht you can get with other brands of tooth paste. I recommend you try it.
Although the taste takes a little getting used to, the clean feels better than other products used
Its nice to see that they are natural products used in the ingredients and the tube is bigger than most toothpastes.
When I have used this tube I would be interested in purchasing another one.
I have used this tooth paste for six months. I really enjoy the herbal taste and the freshness of my mouth after using it. I really enjoy how natural is feels and tastes in the mouth and knowing the ingredients are of the best quality really gives me confidence in this being a quality product.
What a revelation. I was first attracted by the bee venom as an ingredient; now I am hooked on this one. Teeth feel cleaner longer. Like the benefit of the bee venom for my healath.
Mills Farm tooth paste is good stuff. But I really like the soap for my daily wet shave. Skin feels smooth and no burning sensation afterwards. Go for it!
Using the toothpaste the first time, I didn’t like the taste of it, but it grows on you.
It’s a different texture from normal toothpaste and teeth felt cleaner 😊
As I didn’t like mint toothpaste, it was a little bit easier for me to use it.
